Ten Year Count: Census Research
presented by the Midwest Genealogy Center

This class will explore the United States Federal Census from its beginning in the Constitution to the 1930 census. Topics will include the census process, how information was gathered, what information was gathered, and common errors in reading and interpreting data. If time allows, discussion will include state census information and census images online.

Beginning Genealogy with Tiffany Perkins

Learn organizational skills along with what resources to start with. This is also a great refresher class for intermediate and advanced users.

World War I in Color
National World War I Museum presents:

“Mayhem on the Eastern Front” and “Victory and Despair”

Narrated by Sir Kenneth Branagh, World War I in Color brings to life the images of the World War as no other documentary before. The movie uses rare archive footage from worldwide sources including Russia, Germany, France, Italy, and the United States. This six-part landmark series brings to the viewer the gritty reality of life in the trenches during the First World War.
This event is free to the public and will be held in the J.C. Nichols
Auditorium at the National World War I Museum.
